Billing area of Himachal Pradesh reopened for Paragliding
The Paragliding activities are open until July 15th before the seasonal ban of two months.
One of the most popular adventure activities in Himachal Pradesh is Paragliding. This activity attracts tourists from all over the country as well as from abroad. Many international events have been held in this area.
The area called Bir is another popular village which is considered as the Paragliding spot. Both Bir and Billing are among the best-known paragliding sites in the world.
Presently, there are no tourists in Bir or Billing. The local administration will impose another seasonal ban from 15th July till 15th September because of the monsoon season.
Billing has been hosting the International Paragliding World Cup in October of every year. Considering the COVID situation, the event might not happen this year.
