Goa becomes another state to fully vaccinate its residents with the first dose

The Covid curfew has been extended until 13th September but several tourists activies are permitted.

The Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Pramod Sawant announced that Goa has given at least the first dose of the vaccine to all the people in Goa. The official data was released by the government is being promoted as the proof for 100% vaccination.

The Chief Minister also said that the Covid curfew restrictions will be extended till September 13th. The Chief Minister has not given a clear indication on fully opening up the tourism businesses. However, he said that some businesses will be allowed to function.

Only domestic tourists are expected in the coming months and many tourist activities will be allowed. Fully vaccinated tourists will be allowed to move freely in Goa. For everyone else, the RT-PCR test will be required by the tourists. Casinos, Pubs, and Cruises will remain shut until further notice.
