The director of tourism for India in the Israeli tourism ministry, Mr. Sammy Yahia, and his wife Sohad visited the Kumarakom village in Kerala. They particularly chose Kumarakom to experience the village life of Kerala.
Kumarakom is one of the best places to visit in Kerala and is quite popular among domestic and international tourists. The local heritage and traditional crafts can be found here. The Israeli minister expressed his appreciation for the local villagers and their peaceful way of life.
With the start of the tourism season, Kerala is slowly recovering from the pandemic-induced disruption to its businesses.
