Manali Winter Carnival scheduled for 2nd January

The Winter carnival was cancelled last year due to Covid-19 concerns.

With the significant decline in the number of Covid cases, the Manali Winter Carnival is scheduled from 2nd till 6th January next year. Due to the Covid-19 concerns, there was uncertainty regarding the winter sports and festivities in Manali and the rest of Himachal Pradesh. Fortunately, the pandemic fear is gone and Manali is ready to receive attendants for the Winter Festival.

The Manali Winter Festival is an annual event that was canceled due to the pandemic situation last year. For this year, the preparations for the festivities have already begun. Manali is also receiving a whole lot of tourists since the parts few weeks. This was due to the severe pollution in Delhi and cities near Delhi. The hotel owners and tourism businesses are delighted to receive a healthy number of tourists in Manali and other popular destinations in Himachal Pradesh.

For the winter festival, a large number of tourists from Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan are expected. Due to the heavy pollution and smog, people are taking a vacation away from the cities and heading to the mountains. The Manali Winter Festival will be held just after the New Year’s Celebration, which will attract the tourists who are already there to spend their New Year.

The Manali Winter Festival will include several tourist activities such as Paragliding, skiing, river-rafting, skating, etc. There will be several games for tourists in which they can engage. Entertainment such as cultural programs and music will also be highlighting the event.
