The popular weekend destination for tourists from the city of Bengaluru, Nandi Hills will be opened starting 7th September. This decision was made as an initiative under the Unlock 4.0 which is the 4th phase of unlocking restrictions in India.
Nandi Hills is located in the Chikkabalapur district of Karnataka and it has been closed since the beginning of the lockdown. The government of Karnataka has made sure all the social distancing norms are in effect and are followed.
According to the new policies, one of the protocol dictates that no food and water bottles from outside will be allowed at the site. This decision was made to improve the sales for the local shopkeepers who need to sell their stuff to the tourists.
In the coming week, it is possible that the tourist inflow to Nandi Hills will increase and tourism will come back to normalcy in this area.
