Taj Mahal and Agra Fort will reopen for tourists on 27th September

The daily number of visitors will be limited to 2500.

The famous tourist destination of Taj Mahal is one of the most visited places in India. Both domestic and international tourists visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort in large numbers every year.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, Taj Mahal and Agra Fort have been closed for about 6 months. With the declining number of Covid-19 cases in India, The local government has decided to open the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort for tourists. With more and more tourist destinations opening up in India, it is quite likely that in the coming week’s tourism will fully open up.

The number of the tourists visiting Taj Mahal and Agra Fort will be controlled. According to the recent guidelines, only 2500 tourists will be allowed to enter the premises in a single day. These guidelines are expected to be changed as per the Covid circumstances.
