Recently, the 9th edition of the famous International Tourism Mart was held in Kohima in Nagaland. This tourism mart is an event to promote tourism activities in Northeast India. This event ended on 29th November and was attended by the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Mr. Neiphiu Rio.
In the last few months, there have been many projects that were launched and finalized in Northeast India. These projects were aimed at boosting the tourism industry of Northeast India. Due to the pandemic, many businesses associated with tourism activities suffered financially.
The International Tourism Mart (ITM) was held to promote Nagaland’s art and cultural traditions to the world. There were also several stakeholders of the tourism sector present in this event. They promoted their business projects and shared ideas on how to develop new projects in Nagaland and the northeast region of India.
