Vaccine Certificates mandatory for domestic travelers during Diwali

The vaccine certificate should be at least 15 days after the second dose of the vaccine.

One of the officials from the Tours and Travel Agents Association said that the number of domestic tourists traveling during Diwali is expected to be high. The official from the state of Gujarat has also stated that a vaccination certificate will be mandatory for all tourists traveling during Diwali.

Also, the mandatory certificate should be at least 15 days after the second dose of the vaccine. Although international flights have not started, domestic tourism has a seen a significant rise in the tourist influx.

With the increased vaccination drive, the majority of the visiting tourists have been fully vaccinated. The requirement for RT-PCR tests is still there for the people who have not yet been vaccinated. During Diwali, the number of tourist activities is expected to increase. To make sure that the spread of Covid is reduced, measures are being taken by the state governments.
